Meet our assessors

The physicians overseeing care at PACE are fully licensed Family Physicians and are experienced family physicians responsible for reviewing the care provided by the internationally trained physicians. These family physician assessors: 

• Hold a Full or Restricted licence as family physicians in Nova Scotia. 
• Have extensive experience in office-based primary care. 
• Assess the clinical performance of internationally trained physicians to ensure they meet Canadian standards. 

The assessors play a crucial role in ensuring that patient care remains safe, effective, and of the highest quality. They provide guidance and oversight to internationally trained physicians as they transition into the Canadian healthcare system.
