Dr. Keri McAdoo

CEO, Nova Scotia Physician Assessment Centre of Excellence

Dr. Keri McAdoo has been the Deputy Registrar at the College of Physicians and Surgeons for the past eight years. In her capacity of CEO of PACE, Dr. McAdoo is leading the development of the first of its kind physician assessment centre in Canada.

A graduate of Dalhousie University Medical School, Dr. McAdoo completed her family medicine residency at the University of Alberta. As a certified family physician, she has over 20 years of experience in family medicine in Nova Scotia.

A recognized leader in medical regulation, Dr. McAdoo has developed licensing pathways that have dramatically transformed how internationally trained physicians are licensed across Canada. She has been instrumental in improving access to qualified healthcare professionals nationwide.

Under her leadership, PACE is helping integrate competent primary care physicians into the provincial healthcare system and in so doing, expand primary care access for thousands of patients in Nova Scotia.

Beyond her professional work, Dr. McAdoo and her husband cherish time with their six grown-up children. Their family is deeply connected to both Canada and New Zealand, with strong ties to loved ones in both countries.
